Manage Contacts And Notifications For Each Supplier Or Contractor

Keep all of your supplier and contractor contacts organised in JACK

Overview

Managing multiple contacts for each supplier or contractor can get messy, but it doesn't have to. With JACK, you can keep everyone organised, so you always know exactly who to contact when you need them.

Adding a New Contact

Navigate to Contacts > Supplier or Contractor > Contact Name. Under Company Details, you'll find a Contacts section. Click the + Contact to add a new contact.

A drawer appears for entering the new contact's details. Select their Role Type and set Enable Portal Access depending on the account type and user role. An Admin contact has full access permissions on their portal, whereas a User contact can be assigned specific access permissions on their portal. Click Save to add the new contact.

Notifications Panel

On the contractor or supplier's Details tab, the Notifications panel sits alongside Expected Payment Timing and controls which contacts receive schedule and purchase order emails. The Job Schedule field sets which contact(s) receive schedule assignment emails, and the Purchase Orders field sets which contact(s) receive purchase order notification emails. Select one or more contacts in each field independently, so different contacts can receive different notification types.

Adding multiple contacts under a single supplier or contractor also allows you to assign Schedule Items to an individual contact. Read the full guide on How to Create Teams and Assign Them to Schedule Items to learn how to create teams and assign schedule items efficiently.

Viewing Contact Details

Once saved, click a Contact to open their profile, where you can view and edit their Details, Compliance, Security and Access Permissions.
