How to best utilise Notes in Leads
Notes are a great way to record information and Client Communications.
They can be used to record specific details (e.g., the client is known to one of the company directors) or to record a conversation with the client. These Notes are for internal use and can only be read by Staff with access.
To access Notes, navigate to Sales > Select a Lead. Click the
icon to display/hide the notes section.
Type your Note in the text box provided and press Enter or click the
icon to add.
You can Edit or Delete a Note by clicking on the ![]()
icon as highlighted below.
ℹ️The system will automatically record the person who entered the comment and the time it was entered.

Uploading and Managing Files for Leads
You can store any Lead-related Files in custom folders you create to save time. To set up your lead folders, navigate to Settings > Data Setup > Project Types.
To add a file to a Lead/Job, navigate to the relevant Lead > Files, where you can either:
Use the
button at the top right of the screen to browse your network files, ORDrag and drop files into the upload section.
⚠️You must be within the specific folder you wish to upload the files, as you cannot move files between folders once uploaded. If you have accidentally uploaded your file to the wrong folder, you can delete the file and upload it again to the correct location.
ℹ️You have the option to add folder(s) and sub-folders using the
button. Use the
symbol to the right of a file to allow you to download, rename, or delete a file and view sharing & access options. For more information, see this article.
