To upload a plan and complete your takeoffs, navigate to Estimates.
Select the relevant estimate and select the Takeoffs tab. Click
to add your plans/drawings.
Once your plan is uploaded, you can preview the file on the right side of the screen. You can navigate to other pages by clicking on the page drop-down box. Click on the three dots to rename and delete pages that are not required.
You’ll need to set the scale for each page to match your plans (for example, 1:100). To do this, draw a line along a known measurement on the plan, then enter its length in millimetres (mm) and click Set Scale. Once applied, the scale will appear in the bottom-right corner next to the ruler icon.
To bulk apply your scale, click the ⋮ button next to the Scale bar. Choose Copy Scale to Pages, then select the pages you want to apply it to. If needed, you can correct any mistakes by selecting Edit Scale from the same menu.
Use your space bar to grab and move around your page. You can zoom in and out by holding Ctrl and rolling the wheel on your mouse, or by clicking on the +/- icon in the top right of the page preview screen.
💡You also have the option to edit the opacity of the plan. These changes can differ from page to page and will be saved even if you exit the takeoff.
