The Comms Log provides a complete record of all emails sent from the system, whether they were generated automatically or sent by a user.
This makes it easy to confirm if an email has been created and track its details, such as who sent it, when it was sent, and who received it.
Table outlining the information available in the Comms Log:
Tab | Information Available |
All | A complete list of all emails sent, including the destination, sender, and subject. |
Schedule/Tasks | Records emails triggered when a task or schedule item is assigned. |
Comments | Shows when a comment is added to a schedule item. Assignees with notifications turned on will receive an email, and the entry will appear here. |
Reminders | Displays email reminders sent from a Schedule Item or Job Safety Analysis (JSA). |
Selections/Variations | Captures emails sent when a Selection set or Variation is submitted for approval and the customer is notified. |
Finance | Logs emails generated for Purchase Orders or Requests for Quote (RFQs). |
Safety | Records of which Job Safety Analysis (JSA) has been sent and to whom. |
Daily Logs | Tracks emails triggered by daily log entries, including notifications to the author and recipient. |
Automations | Shows emails automatically generated by automations. |
How to access the Comms Log:

A new page opens as shown in the screenshot below. The basic navigation functionalities are provided below:
Switch between different areas of the software using the tabs at the top.
Shows what action occurred (e.g., email sent).
Displays what the action was linked to.
Shows who generated the communication, who received it, and when it was sent.

This entry shows that on 4/08/2025 at 2.49 pm, Nick from A1 Carpentry Co was notified via email that they were assigned a Schedule Item titled 'Install Stone Bench Tops'.
